Addressing identified barriers to accreditation of midwifery schools MEAC research into the barriers to accreditation, has uncovered a number of exciting opportunities for programming development, additional research, and other methods of supporting institutions and programs. Continued support from FAM will allow midwifery stakeholders to reduce the barriers to accreditation, and increase the number of accredited institutions able to serve midwifery students.
