The Grand Challenge, is a call to all midwives, birth workers, organizations, the birthing community, and institutions to “be the change” in addressing racial disparities in maternal and infant health and alleviating these outcome disparities. Our goal is to increase the number of midwives and other birth workers of color who are uniquely qualified to serve the women and families of their communities.
